Scholarship Opportunities

The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce offers four scholarships to high school seniors every year! Each scholarship amount is $2,000 and will be split into two disbursements (one for fall semester and one for spring semester). Our scholarship application for the Class of 2025 students will be available by February 21, 2025.

Scholarship Details

Applications are typically released in February.
Applications will be available on our website and at the Champion High School, Boerne High School, Geneva School of Boerne and Comfort High School counseling offices.
The following scholarships are available:
- Aubrey E. “Sandy” Sanderson Memorial Scholarship, named after a beacon of hope in Boerne and epitomizing the spirit of volunteerism.
- Laurie Bushong Lang Memorial Scholarship was presented to a student who epitomizes the spirit of community service demonstrated by the late Laurie Lang.
- John P. Ebner Scholarship, named after a beloved Boerne Pharmacist and community leader who worked tirelessly to bring EMS services to our city.
- Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating Trade Scholarship acknowledges a local small business owners passion to support and give back to the entrepreneur and/or trade inspired student who embodies a spirit to pursue their vocational and trade studies.
Applicants must attend a public, private, or home-school and live within the BISD/CISD Boundaries for no fewer than two academic years at the time of the award to be eligible.
