KENDALL COUNTY NONPROFIT ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY
In 2023, in partnership with The Kronkosky Charitable Foundation and Trinity University, The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce launched the Kendall County Nonprofit Economic Impact Study.
Comprehensive research from this study named Kendall County as the #1 most charitable county in Texas, with over $33 million of income coming front community contributions and grants alone. These dollars go directly into serving those in need when it comes to human services, education, healthcare, and more.
Each January, a selection committee is formed, and they chose Business Award Winners based on the previous year’s achievements and accomplishments. Beca Short with the Kendall County Junior Livestock Association (pictured here), was chosen as the 2023 Nonprofit of the Year because of the outstanding scholarships they award to graduating seniors.
