Wounded Warrior Project

We had a great morning celebrating and welcoming the Wounded Warrior Project into our Boerne business community with a special ribbon cutting ceremony! The Wounded Warrior Project began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, through their direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with their advocacy efforts, they improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families. By donating, fundraising or spreading the word you can help warriors get back on track and become a positive force in their communities. Interested in learning more about how you can help? Head over to their website or give them a call today. Be sure to mark your calendars and plan to join the Wounded Warrior Project for their Carry Forward 5K taking place on Saturday, October 7th and Mission County Park. Congrats Wounded Warrior Project!
