We had a great morning celebrating Magdalena House with a special ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of their Grand Opening of the Family Empowerment Center to serve families who are survivors of abuse!

Magdalena House, a San Antonio-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and children fleeing violence and trafficking, proudly announces the grand opening of its new Family Empowerment Center. Magdalena House’s main campus is expanding its services and resources for families embarking on journeys toward healing, independence, and self-sufficiency.

The Family Empowerment Center is a cornerstone of Magdalena House’s mission, aiming to provide trauma-informed care, life-skills training, and educational support in a safe and nurturing environment. The new center is designed to offer comprehensive services that foster resilience and empowerment, including job training, counseling, parenting classes, and community-building programs for women and children. The facility will also host educational resources, workshops, and therapy rooms, ensuring families have the tools they need to achieve long-term success and stability.
