This sandwich contains a fried Texas chicken breast topped with Texas apple wood smoked bacon & gruyere cheese served on a toasted sourdough wheat bun with roasted chili aioli, naturally raised romaine lettuce, Marfa tomato, sweet red onion & dill pickles.

Chick-fil-A Leon Springs is known for their spectacular fried chicken. They have a delicious chicken sandwich with your choice of spicy or original, their beloved nuggets, and even the newer addition of chicken tenders. No matter what you pick you cannot go wrong picking up or dining in at Chick-fil-a.

Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. not only has a wide selection of beers on tap and a great atmosphere, but they also serve an amazing chicken fried chicken sandwich on a Potato Bun. This sandwich has a fried Bell and Evans Farms chicken thigh, tequila lime slaw, mild habanero ranch dressing and pickled red onions. You can even try tossing it in a house-made wing sauce! Hungry Horse Restaurant has been and continues to be a must try here in Boerne. They have options for everyone on this special occasion. Old No. 9 Depot, Longhorn Café is a great spot for the whole family, with a laid-back atmosphere and a wide variety of menu options for both adults and kids. Join them for this special day to try their fried chicken tender basket, chicken fried chicken, or their chicken fried chicken sandwich.  

Raising Canes is known for their fried chicken and their famous canes sauce. It is time to share the love with a cane’s combo this national fried chicken day! With everything from their chicken finger combos to their sandwiches, and even their catering options, you won’t be disappointed.  

Richter Boerne is always a great place to celebrate! Head to their second floor where they have a 1920’s themed bar and restaurant. They have a fried chicken thigh sandwich topped with pickled red cabbage, pickles, bacon, swiss cheese, and BBQ dijonase on a grilled house-made burger bun to help you celebrate this day.

The Dienger Trading Co is the place to go whether you’re looking for a latte, delicious bakery items, a relaxing brunch place, or if you are looking for good fried chicken! They have a crispy fried chicken breast with applewood bacon, jalapeno gravy, served on a southern style biscuit, garnished with rendered applewood bacon, jalapenos and scallions. Everything from the Dienger is from scratch, so don’t miss out.

Whataburger is a Texas staple, but did you know they serve more than just burgers? Their menu has some great options to fulfill your fried chicken cravings. Some of their most popular chicken items include their chicken Tender basket, a golden fried chicken sandwich, and one of their newer items the chicken bites. 28 Songs Brewhouse features some of the best wings in town (fried, not breaded) along with boneless tenders. Enjoy them saucy or with a dry rub!
