259 Brantley’s Bistro located right in the heart of downtown Boerne, invites you to join them for National Cocktail Day! Today they are featuring their Summer Green Tea made with Jamesons Whiskey! This is a very refreshing cocktail, which doesn’t have a drop of green tea in it, but you are sure to be hooked after one sip. Their Purple Iguana cocktail helps pay homage to the original bar that opened back in the 90's by Nancy Holekamp and Carol Reston. Rumor has it that some customers even still have koozies from the Purple Iguana days and they stop in ever-so-often to enjoy a delicious Purple Iguana cocktail. 259 Brantley’s Bistro just kicked off their live music season. They will have live music Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon. You’re encouraged to mark your calendars for Music on The Mile which will take place on Saturday, May 25th!

Richter Boerne is Boerne’s Original Bar of 1869 which retains the historic taste of the cocktail classic – an Old Fashion. Those who know, need no explanation - those who have yet to know, come by Richter and explore a true expression of their barrel select rye with a dash of bitters, sugar, orange, and a black cherry on a Gibraltar rock of ice. Perfection!

Bending Branch Winery serves cocktails made from Bending Branch 1840 and ChickenDuck bourbons every weekend at the Winery. Current cocktail offerings include an Old Fashioned, a Highball, the Classic Quack-hattan, the High Rye ‘Rita, Brenda’s Branch Sour, or bourbon pours neat or on a rock. They also just launched their special Eclipse Edition ChickenDuck Four Grain Bourbon to commemorate the total solar eclipse happening on April 8th. Stop by this week to try them out!
The Oak of Boerne isn’t open on Sundays to celebrate National Cocktail Day, but they invite you to come out this week and experience their diverse selection of cocktails, premium cigars, old world wines by the glass, rare small batch bourbon, cask strength scotch, tequila, artisan mezcal and rotating specialty drinks. The Oak of Boerne is a recreational social club dedicated to self-made captains of industry and like-minded individuals. Unapologetic, masculine, opulent and no attention to detail spared.
