Halloween Happenings in the Community

As Fall settles in the Hill Country, or really, as summer hopefully decides to leave, we’re gearing up for a time of spook-tacular fun! Halloween is approaching, bringing a bewitching array of events that promise thrills, chills, and fun memories for all ages! From trick-or-treating for the littles, to spooky cocktail workshops for your favorite group of witches, our Boerne community has a lot to offer on this spirited holiday. Join us as we uncover the best Halloween happenings!

On October 24th, step into Assemble Cocktail Workshop’s eerie cocktail lab for an evening of gathering and interactive fun! Guided by the moonlight and the magic of craft bitters, herbs, and seasonal flavors, you and your friends will craft three ghoulishly delightful cocktails—whether you prefer them spirited or non-spirited. From a Terror-Tini to a Blood Moon Rising, this evening will prove to be the best with your group of favorite witches and ghost-gals. Space is limited, so be sure to snag your spot in advance!

We know you are just here for the booooooze! Lost Oak Cellars, located at 111 Rosewood Ave, is hosting a Hallo-wine dance party on Friday, October 25th! Show up in your best Halloween costume and be ready to how off your best moves all night! Prizes for the best costume and couples costume will be awarded! Lost Oak Cellars is even located in a historic building, that was a funeral home for a number of years. It doesn’t get much spookier than that!

Trick or Treat all day long on the Hill Country Mile in the 5th Annual Trick or Treat Trail hosted by the Boerne Retail and Restaurant Owners Association! Kids and adults are welcome to dress up and fill their candy buckets while leisurely shopping and strolling through our historic Downtown. Revisit your favorite shops and restaurants or discover something new while supporting your local business community during this spooky season! The candy trail will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, October 26th, along the Hill Country Mile.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Franklin Park Boerne on Halloween morning for a family friendly breakfast with The Evil Witch, Dorothy, The Tin Man and more friends from The Emerald City. Swing by for refreshments and spooky treats, all provided by Franklin Park Boerne, located at 18 Old San Antonio Road.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly time, head over to Comfort Baptist Church on October 31st for their Trunk or Treat event! They offer music, food, carnival games, balloons, a photobooth, bounce house, and so many more spooky specials for the entire family, all completely free of charge! Comfort Baptist Church is located at 100 Amber Dr in Comfort.

Rather something a bit wilder? Salvador DOBBS is hosting a Costume Karaoke night on Halloween! Dress your best (or worst) and get ready for cash prizes and the tastiest cocktails around! Salvador DOBBS is located at 512 River Rd. 21+ only.

Every weekend in October, The First United Methodist Church of Boerne will have their Pumpkin Patch open to the public at The AgriCultural Museum and Arts Center at 102 City Park Rd! They’re open every Friday (3PM-6PM), Saturday (10AM-6PM), and Sunday (12PM-6PM), and offer entertainment, games, food trucks, photo-ops, and more for the entire family. Plus, admission is FREE!

So whether you’re looking for a crazy night out, or a not-so spooky evening with the family, our community has so much to offer! Be sure to shop, stay, and play LOCAL as we head into the holiday season!
