Dan is the Member Engagement Representative at the Chamber. His extensive work background includes 40 years in mission work and 25 years in the non-profit sector. As an educator he worked with children and teens, parents, and young adults, he was a teacher, mentor, counselor and public speaker which still drives his desire to connect with and build relationships with Chamber members. His passion is to bring value to each person through their membership.
Quick Fact: Besides living in various locales from the West Coast to Washington, D.C, Dan and his wife lived outside the U.S. for over 20 years (Latin America, Japan, and Korea). One of his passions is travelling which has included extended trips to Europe, the Middle East, Russia, India, China, SE Asia, South America, Central America and Canada. Dan and his wife celebrate their 47th Anniversary this year and are still planning their travels.
Favorite thing in Boerne: Dan loves that everything is so close here in Boerne, a short drive and he’s there. Having lived in large cities where he has driven (or sat) in traffic for hours (think LA or the DC Beltway or Mexico City) the minor traffic that he encounters in Boerne isn’t a bother.
