BOERNE CHAMBER AWARDING FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2020
The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce is offering four scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2020. Each scholarship amount is $2,000 and will be split into two disbursements (one for fall semester and one for spring semester).
The following scholarships are available:
- Aubrey E. “Sandy” Sanderson Memorial Scholarship, named after a beacon of hope in Boerne and epitomizing the spirit of volunteerism.
- Laurie Bushong Lang Memorial Scholarship was presented to a student who epitomizes the spirit of community service demonstrated by the late Laurie Lang.
- John P. Ebner Scholarship, named after a beloved Boerne Pharmacist and community leader who worked tirelessly to bring EMS services to our city.
- Move Logistics Entrepreneur Scholarship acknowledges a local small business owners passion to support and give back to the entrepreneur and/or trade inspired student who embodies a spirit to pursue their vocational and trade studies.
All graduating seniors living and attending school in Kendall County are invited to apply. Applications are available here and at the Champion High School, Boerne High School, Geneva School of Boerne and Comfort High School counseling offices. The deadline for the application is April 2, 2020.
