  11. Annual State of the City Luncheon at the Cana Ballroom with 180 in attendance (January 18, 2017).
  12. The State of BISD Address & Teachers of the Year Luncheon sponsored by Jennings Anderson Ford at the Cana Ballroom with just over 100 in attendance (March 7, 2017).
  13. Austin Update with State Senator Donna Campbell and State Representative Kyle Biedermann at the Hampton Inn and Suites (September 26, 2017).
  14. Over 315 attended the "Hollywood" Annual Awards Party sponsored by Coldwell Banker, D'Ann Harper Realtor at the Cana Ballroom. The Keynote speaker was actress Cheryl Ladd (January 28, 2017).
  15. The Annual Report meeting and presentation was hosted with a breakfast for the first time at Kronkosky Place with 70 in attendance (February 1, 2017).
  16. Annual Golf Tournament sponsored by Electrolab and Sonora Bank was held at the Buckhorn Golf Course in Comfort and had 120 golfers (May 19, 2017).
  17. The Chamber was proud to bring Leadercast Live - Boerne to 83 members at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort & Spa.  The event was sponsored by University Health System and Dahill and the featured speakers were: Tyler Perry (Actor and Producer), Andy Stanley (Leadership Author), Molly Fletcher (Sports Agent and Author), Tripp Crosby (Comedian and Director), Henry Cloud (Leadership Expert), Suzy Welch (Leadership Expert), Jim McKelvery (Co-Founder of Square), Daniel Pink (Host of Crowd Control), Jess Ekstrom (CEO Headbands of Hope), Donald Miller (CEO of Storybrand) (May 5, 2017).
  18. The Chamber hosted it's first Boerne Business Conference sponsored by Broadway Bank, Sonora Bank, H-E-B and United Texas Credit Union.  The sessions were held at three locations in Boerne: Ye Kendall Inn, Patrick Heath Public Library and the Boerne Chamber with 80 in attendance (October 19, 2017).
  19. The first Boerne Events Expo was held at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club with 24 business booths.
  20. 2017 Scholarship Committee selected 7 scholarship winners totaling $16,000 in scholarships awarded.
  21. Terry Mitchell of President of Momark Development L.L.C. based in Austin came to Boerne speaking on Strong Towns including a Presentation and Luncheon with 51 in attendance (September 11, 2017).
  22. Leadership Boerne Class of 2017 had 26 graduates and the incoming class of 2018 has 21 participants.
  23. The Chamber was a proud sponsor of Boerne’s 3rd Annual Lemonade Day with over 40 participating booths set up in and around Boerne (May 7, 2017).
  24. The Chamber, in partnership with the Senior Services Network hosted a Senior Resources Fair at the Patrick Heath Public Library (March 9, 2017).
  25. The Leads group held 25 meetings in 2017.
  26. Lunch Roulette continued and with 8 monthly unique opportunities for members to network while enjoying lunch.
  27. The Chamber held 2 Motivational Monday breakfasts in 2017. Keynote speakers were former Spurs Coyote Rob Wicall (sponsored by Frost Bank) and Mandy Barton.
  28. The Business Education committee hosted 3 Social Media workshops presented by Debi Burrows of Penguin Suits: Facebook or Instagram--your company presence should be in which social media?, Top 20 Tips for Social Media Success and Learn How to Market your Business on Social media. (September, 2017).
  29. The Business Education committee also hosted a business workshop presented by Robert Upton of Texas Business Buyers: How to Get Your Time Back While Growing a Profitable Business. (November 7, 2017).
  30. The Business Education committee hosted the 2nd Annual Teacher Externship program with 9 participating Chamber business members.
  31. The newly designed Chamber website launched in June, 2017 and the number of visits doubled immediately.
  32. The Chamber's Instragram account was launched.
  33. The Chamber posted 26 Facebook Lives to promote our members' businesses and events.
