  16. Annual Golf Tournament was held at the beautiful Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort & Spa and had 159 golfers (May 16, 2016).
  17. 2016 Scholarship Committee selected 7 scholarship winners totaling $16,000 in scholarships awarded.
  18. An estimated 4000 guests, over 600 volunteers, 27 cook teams, 59 sponsors, and 13 in-kind sponsors attended the 6th Annual Wild Game Dinner (November 5, 2016).
  19. Charles “Chuck” Marohn came to Boerne with his Curbside Chat: Strong Towns Presentation and Luncheon with 120 in attendance.
  20. Leadership Boerne Class of 2016 had 23 graduates and the incoming class of 2017 has 26 participants.
  21. The Retail Committee hosted 5 Main Street events this year: Spring Fling/Ladies Night Out in April, 4th of July Sidewalk Sale/Independent Retailers Weekend, Harvest Day’s in October, Diva Night and Stocking Stroll in November.
  22. The Chamber was a proud sponsor of Boerne’s 2nd Annual Lemonade Day with 230 kids registering and 61 booths (May 1, 2016).
  23. The Chamber, in partnership with the City of Boerne, Boerne/Kendall County EDC, Kendall County and Workforce Solutions Alamo hosted a Job Fair with 46 Kendall County employers and over 80 job seekers (May 20, 2015).
  24. A second Leads group was established and between the two groups, they held 35 meetings in 2016.
  25. Lunch Roulette was established and with three monthly unique opportunities for members to network while enjoying lunch.
  26. The first Motivational Monday breakfast was held on September 12, 2016. Coach inspired the those in attendance.
  27. December 1st was the day for the inaugural Fa La La La on Main Christmas celebration with 65 members enjoying appetizers and drink at Cypress Grille, The Dienger Trading Co and Peggy’s on the Green at Ye Kendall Inn.
