Benefits

The Chamber serves an advocate for business as outlined in the Chamber’s Mission Statement.

Unique Marketing Opportunities
By joining the Chamber, you open a door to several unique marketing opportunities: advertising options in Chamber publications that reach the city's top business leaders, exhibit spaces at the annual EXPO, and sponsorship arrangements with the Chamber for major seminars and other functions. Chamber members are allowed rack space at the Chamber for their brochures. All new Chamber members, with the exception of the Friend of the Chamber (Individual) and Bronze levels, are offered free ads welcoming them as a new member compliments of both local newspapers.

Promote Tourism
The Chamber's Boerne Convention & Visitor's Bureau stages many events throughout the year to promote tourism. Marketing and advertisements placed by the Visitor's Bureau promote Boerne in a positive light attracting visitors to stay at local lodging establishments, dine, and shop local stores.

The Chamber's Boerne Convention & Visitor's Bureau attends Travel and Leisure Shows across the state to promote tourism and actively participates in the Texas Travel Industry Organization and the Texas Hill Country Tourism Association.

Business Referrals
Every day, the Chamber fields many calls and/or visits from people asking for a reference. Much of the detailed information is mailed or faxed to supplement what is answered by phone or in person: Where can I find a plumber? Who can help me with my tax problem? What is the number of a bed & breakfast in town? The Chamber always refers Chamber members. Industry specific lists are distributed by the Chamber upon request, such as lodging, dining, realtors, meeting facilities, and others.  This information is also available on this Chamber website.

New Resident Leads
When out-of-towners decide to relocate to Boerne, they usually get much of the information they need through the Chamber. As a member, you have free access to all the relocation information the Chamber develops regarding individuals who are considering a move to the area through email.

Business Community News                                                                                    You'll stay up-to-date with all of the Chamber's many activities and programs and keep abreast of business community news through the monthly e-newsletter and the popular email blast. Every week, members receive special notices of current Chamber programs and the Chamber runs a business column in both local newspapers.

One-On-One Professional Business consultations
Twice a month, free to Chamber members, a business counselor is ready to sit down and meet with you on a one-on-one basis to help find solutions to your specific business problems. The program is made possible by a contract between the Chamber, the UTSA Small Business Development Center, and Bank of America. Contact the Chamber for an appointment.

Membership Directory Listings
As a member of the Chamber, all members are automatically 1isted in the membership directory, both alphabetically and by business category. The directory is updated regularly and widely distributed.

Mailing Labels/Lists of Chamber Membership
The Chamber membership list is one of the best business contact tools you will find. Mailing labels or lists are available to all new members with no cost as outlined by your respective membership level.

Member to Member Discount Program                                                                    This discount program encourages members to shop Chamber members first!  Each Chamber business, according to level of membership, has been issued key tag(s) to share with their employees.  The key tags identify the Chamber members and their employees as they shop Chamber businesses for their discounts. There is no charge for Chamber businesses to participate in the discount program.

Ribbon Cuttings for Grand Openings
It's the happiest time for a business - a grand opening or other milestone celebration. Let the Chamber assist in celebrating with a ribbon cutting - available to Chamber members from Bronze level and above.

Chamber Business-After-Hours
Chamber members have the opportunity to highlight their business by hosting a Chamber Business-After-Hours. This is a great networking tool for our members with up to two scheduled every month. These gatherings bring together hundreds of business people in an informal environment. It's the ideal way for Chamber members to make new business contacts. Guidelines to host a Business-After-Hours are available at the Chamber.
